Hi All, Joel here again. I was contacted by Bingo Vega member LFA7747 recently and she had a legitimate opinion regards the opening of all rooms to all members. Since this is something on the minds of others, I wanted to share my response to her as it may be of value to you.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for contacting me and sorry to hear that we’ve upset you. That’s horrible and we’re sorry. It’s never fun having one of our valuable members upset.
I understand your point of view on this. When we decided to open vega that was a big concern for us too. Unfortunately there are times we’re faced to make decisions that fail to please ALL of our members. But I believe, opening vega’s room to all, benefits the community in the long term.
I’ll do my best to explain how.
First, we’ve committed to have the rooms accessible to all members as a test run to see the impact it has on newbies and our regular members. Please rest assure, we’re monitoring this very closely to ensure it benefits the community as a whole. And if in the next few weeks, the data we analyze shows otherwise, we’ll re-consider.
But for now, here’s why:
- First, Vega believes in transparency and openness. We believe, blocking off access to new members sends the wrong message that they’re not welcomed. Our goal is to build Bingo Vega as not just a bingo site, but an online community where people who share a common like for bingo can meet others, build relationships and win good size pots in a safe and secure environment.
- Second, we believe, by allowing new members to join the fun in all rooms, does help increase the pot size for regular members, giving you a chance to win bigger prizes at vega.
- Third, although the percent of newbies taking wins from regular member is very low, we’ve put in a policy that if a big game like a PJ or any game prize over $500 is won by a newbie using their trial money will be put back into the system or played again for paying members.
- And lastly, we’ve committed to launch a new room in the future exclusively for our pay to play members.
I hope, my explanation does give you a better understanding as to why we made the difficult decision to open access to all members. As I mentioned above, we’re monitoring this for a short period and if we conclude this hurts the entertainment experience for our members, we’ll re-consider.
In the meantime, I invite you, to share any ideas and suggestions how we can improve your experience at vega.
ps. To clarify, your account hasn’t been disabled by our staff, the system disabled your account because of concerns of multiple account. If you have any additional accounts please let our staff know and we’ll happily close the non-active accounts, so you can be clear of any multiple account violations.

I think the real problem lately is not someone trying out the site and maybe winning in a regular game. The real problems are that they all come in like vultures when there are free games on Specials night. Then yes they can win a free 5o bucks doing nothing and then go on to win a jackpot maybe even 5000. They hang out in all the free games and try to play cgs no matter how many times they are told they can't/

I understand your point of view with regards the special complimentary games. We're considering a couple of options to ensure those games are reserved for our pay to play members. A) if a free game is won by a non funding member, we can schedule another game in the tourney lineup. B) schedule all tourney games in a speciall room for funding members only (Beth's Idea
) … we'll keep the community posted as soon as we figure out which option to go with.

Dear Joel, I am a new player here, and it is interesting to me that people are very concerned about whether or not a player is a depositor. I love bingo, and I am loving this site!! So far all the people I have played with and met seem incredibly gracious and welcoming. I am not understanding why being a depositor is so vitally important. I have taken my ten dollars in free play and have turned it into fifty dollars. I don't see the need to become a depositor at this time, as I am continuing to play with my winnings, which seems to me, I am contributing back to the “depositors,” when I don't win. I can become a depositor; however, at this time I don't see the need. When will I deposit…when I run out of my winnings!! LOL
~ I hope this doesn't offend anyone here, but if new people win and continue to play with those winnings then isn't that a form of depositing back into the pot for those who did deposit? I understand there are differences in people; however, I don't see how limiting ALL non-depositors would be beneficial to helping this site/community grow. I am still getting around and not sure of all the games here that are available, so I would just like to go on record saying I am not an abuser of any sort, I just love playing bingo, and I don't mind being excluded from “special” games for depositors only, and, in fact, I would encourage all members to become depositors so they don't miss an opportunity to win the BIG POTS!!!

Well, as you know Joel, I wrote you an email stating how I felt about opening the rooms back up. And as stated in that email, the MAIN thing that bothers me is the multiple accounts. It has been less of an offense this time, but I have seen several do this still. Also, that we see alot playing teams and the chat games. There HAS to be some perks for depositing, right? Otherwise, as stated, why deposit? Make it MORE enticing for depositers and I would bet you would get more depositing after they try the free 10.00.
The free games as depositers, the one we had on saturdays, was taken away from us and given to everybody. Why not bring that back? Along with everything else? Just a suggestion…
And I welcome ALL new players, heck, love that the pots have been bigger! LOL! And also love meeting new folks. It's only the ones that abuse the free 10.00…and then they NEVER do deposit that upset alot of us I beleive. Depositing is what keeps the site open, am I right? So like I said, make it even more enticing to deposit, be diligent about checking for multiple accounts and have some way for CMs to be aware of who has and hasnt deposited.

also mabey there is a way to do it so if youre a nondepositor the game dosant play for then till the next game like a pjp game or a lager doller game 500 and so on like how they di it in bigdipper for saturdays

I think its great that you offer the free games….I can see how that could draw in more new players….but I also think it would be nice to bring back some specials for those of us who do deposit….lately with the free games and the amount of people that they attract….its harder to win and Im spending more money trying…..don't forget about us….LOL

Hi All, I have some suggestions which probably worth a hill of beans, I have been with vega for gosh thee were only four people playing when I signed up. About 8 or 9 years ago, I do not win much here mostly I play in the casino, I have no luck in bingo not much in the casino. No one makes me put my money here I enjoy it. I think that vega need to have more things to get people into vega. Like something for people tha never wins Bingo after putting in a lot of money. I think more than 3 or 4 people need to win it needs to be split up between everyone, this is me so call me what u want. I play at four other bingo places I win right much there and I put money in here that I win there or I would go broke putting money here. Like I said no one makes me play hee I enjoy it and it is a fun place to play that is if you could win some of the time. A lot of work needs to be done here to get more people in like contests, giving away gifts just different things and word of mouth will bring people in. I know I will get a lot of feed back on this but do as u may just saying whats on my mind.

I would like to put my 2 cents in. I have played on a lot of sites, tried their free bonus, and I have only deposited on 2, Vega is one. The reason I picked Vega is they have rooms that I like to play in, great people here and fun games, and they let non-depositors play in all the rooms! If they didn't do that, I would never have given them my money. But I won here, and so got to try out all the site, and decided this was a really great place to play.
I love bingo, but don't have a lot to play with, and so winning means I get to play more basically. Can't see any reason to withdraw unless I won a really big pot, so all my money goes back here.
I would like to see more contests for bb's though. Newsletter contests, jokes and recipes and things. They just draw people together more and make people closer and more likely to deposit just to be able to participate. And maybe you're not lucky at bingo, this is one way everyone can win. lol

I do find many of the same people winning , and it seems I can almost predict the next winner sometimes by checking the players list.I understand about maxing out, but are these 8 to 10 the only maxers?
I think an idea bout trial players might be one of collecting wins in bonuspoints that may be turned into cash after a deposit when the win exceeds a certain amount. Instead of denying them a win as though bonus money is good for small wins (subjective) but not for a big win. win 500. on try money? Wy not grant the player the minimum acceptable amount for a win..say 50.00 in cash. The 450. can be a pending or unclaimed amount until deposits reach that amount..at which time the 450 is released to them. And that is separate from all existing depo bonuses.
veryone has ideas..some good, some bad, and some just undoable. But it is good to share all ideas because they may be able to be tweaked to make something work.
No one wants housies or to lose all the time. Especially to the same winners.. a sure chaser to the regular depositor with a boat full of hope and discovers a hole in the stern! lol Will be gone if they have to paddle out!

Regards the trial room, that's a fantastic idea and one which we've discussed at trying out at Vega. From my past experience working at another bingo site, these type of promos have unfortunately attracted multiple account abuse and fraud. We'd might give it a shot for a short period of time and see how it plays out. Thanks again for your suggestion, please keep them coming.

i think the pending amount is a great idea..however i wouldn't award them cash IF they decided to deposit..i would deposit it as bonus bucks..then if they win after depositing give them a cash deposit

I have been playing on Bingo Vega for a few weeks now and feel thoroughly disgusted that the same people win over and over again. It seems that they win and I deposit. I have decided not to play there any longer because these people continue to win, but I never see them in a chat a room. It seems that when you start complaining in the chat room…alas..you start to win. Not enough though not to have to redeposit. Seriously, how lucky can 10-12 people get! I can't even believe it and I live in Las Vegas! Please give me a break.
