She has 7 kids, 3 husbands and she is still going strong. She has been with my dad now for 16 years and it has been a roller coaster ride of a lifetime. A year ago this past December my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 throat and neck cancer. He missed worked for almost a year. My mom does home health she has been doing this for the past 20 years, she took care of my dad went to work and she is the one that did all of the doctor appointments etc. She doesnt have time for herself at all and that saddens me as she is the strongest person I have ever met in my life.<br>She wanted to give up plenty of times but the dear lord gave her strength to hold on. My dad just had his last pet scan and he is cancer free... wohooooo. My mother never cried so much in her life when she called me on the phone last week to tell me the good news. God is good and I thank God for my mother, she is my rock that i lean on and my shoulder to cry on. :) Thank you mom! My mother is my inspiration for sure. She was a strong woman, but loving, caring and God was most important in her life.<br>It was typical of her to serve supper to strangers, she always cooked enough. She helped anyone she knew and didnt know. Every saturday her 6 sons had breakfast with her. Her family was utmost important. She taught me the importance of loving God. She read the bible to me and often took me to church with her. Although I never met my grandpa, I know he must have felt very lucky to have such a beautiful warm and loving lady in his life. I grew up with them and we were always best friends and still are !! I could not ask for 2 better daughters, so I feel i must have done something right in my life. P.S. They gave me 4 wonderful grandsons that i love dearly because my husband and I lost are only boy.
