We’ve all been impacted by the devastation in Haiti – the horror and dismay keeps on growing with every picture and video of the suffering.
As difficult it may to witness that kind of human suffering on TV, it is unimaginable to totally comprehend the big picture as the people in Haiti are experiencing it.
As many as you may watch the horror unfold on the news and wonder how you can help, we wanted to put together a little guide for those who are in a position to help with a donation through a variety of reputable charities.
How You Can Help the People In Haiti
- American Red Cross
- UNICEF
- Doctors without borders (from what we’ve heard, the best option, since they have doctors on the ground right now)
- Save the children
For more ways you can help, please visit the helpful “Help Haiti” page on Huffingtonpost.com
Please pass this post to your Facebook friends and if you have a Twitter account, please ReTweet this post so we can spread the word out to as many friends and family members as possible.
Thank you for your help.

I think it's very good of Bingo Vega to post this information. I made a donation yesterday to the American Red Cross, not a whole lot but as much as I could. My question is how much is Bingo Vega donating? If you could donate a dollar per player you have or even a quarter per player think how much that money would help.

Hi Julie1960, that's great news and thank you for sharing with us. Everyone from the management team, including myself and our founders have donated significantly through cash donations as well as supplies at local centers. As a company we don't like to publicly discuss how much we have donated or run events with the community to raise funds for charity. As important as it is for us to raise awareness we feel there are other ways we can help out and spread the message then run a contest tied to our community. But we do appreciate the suggestion and who knows, in the future, if there's a high demand on the site, we can run a charitable game where all the proceeds can go to the winner of the games favorite / important cause.
