New Chat Improvements at BingoVega and Upcoming $100 Free Bingo Games

Hi All, Over the past few weeks, with your feedback and the help of our CM team, we’ve been able to roll out some exciting changes (part 1 & part 2) here at BingoVega.com:

  • Progressive Games on All Rooms and on every game:
    • Milky Way – minimum $750
    • Asteroid Room – minimum $1,000
    • Nickel Room – minimum $500 … complete details on the PJP improvements
  • 1 TG Special
  • Extended Chat Hours
  • Extended Support Hours
  • Wagering Requirements on Guaranteed Saturday Games
  • New Promotions and many more as previously shared on the previous two posts.

Today we’re happy to announce another key improvement which we hope will have a positive impact on your experience here at BingoVega.com: new and improved chat policy.

BingoVegans love Chat game bonuses and rightfully so; being in chat and playing chat games are an important part of your fun factor here at Vega. However, we believe we can further improve your experience. So starting today at 5pm EST, the following improvements will be in effect:

Improvement #1: 200% bonus on last deposit

We found, majority of our members are being penalized by the current 200% bonus on last deposit offer and feel by eliminating the bonus on last deposit and extending it to TOTAL deposits made in last 7 days will be more rewarding for everyone… so as of April 15th at 5pm EST, you’ll receive “100% bonus on TOTAL deposits made in last 7 days.

Improvement #2: chat crediting

To ensure our wonderful CMs have more free time to attend to you in chat, now our support team will be responsible for crediting your BBs in 24 hours.

This will free up our CMs to host more games during their shift and of course be more available to you in chat.

Improvement #3: extended chat hours

To further improve your experience, earlier in the month, we extended the hours of chat for Asteroid and Nickel rooms.

Asteroids Room:

  • Sunday – Thursday: 6pm to 12am
  • Fridays & Saturdays: 6pm to 2am

Little Dipper Room  Extended Chat Hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 4pm to 12am
  • Fridays: 4pm to 2am
  • Saturdays: 8am to 2am
  • Sundays: 8am to 12am

Milky Way Room:

  • will continue as 24 hours hosted

More chat games, more chat bonuses you can win.

Improvement #4: better management of your BBs

One of your past suggestions have been the impact of non depositing members on the BBs that are taken away from qualified, depositing members. Now with the above changes, we’ll be able to better reward you with the BBs you deserve.

With support crediting, we’ll be able to keep a pool of BBs that were won by non qualified members and distribute that back to our chat games as double BB or triple BB days or even host weekly surprise draws for you to win the savings pot : )

Improvement #5: Double BB Days

With the above improvements we’d like to experiment with a super chat special day. That’s why, as of Monday, April 20th, we’ll be trying out double BB chat games between 6pm to 12am every Monday.

Here’s how it will work:

  1. When you make a deposit on Monday
  2. You’ll receive double BBs on all chat games from 6pm to 12am EST

Occasionally we might surprise you with triple BB days for even more excitement throughout the week : )

    LOL me again, you probably wont wanna post this one, but dont know how else to send ya an email. When I used to work as a cm at another site, we used to credit bb's ourselves. We had a real simple bb program. We would put in the players name, and the player would get a percentage of the bb's according to how much they spent on cards in the last 5 games. Like in order to get the full 2 bb's, you'd have to spend $1 per game for 5 games. If the player wasnt in the game, the comp program would tell you that and they would only get so much out of the 2 bb's. If the player wasnt a depositor, it would tell you that also. It was a very easy comp program and very easy to keep up with, I had like 80 in chat all the time. and would have to credit a real lot per game. Its just a suggestion, it would probably make it alot easier for cm's, and roomies would be happier about getting bb's right away again lol ( just a thought )

    Not that this is really a big deal, but it was said that crediting bb's once a day would benefit us from nondepositors playing the chat games. I dont understand that, because say we are playing stopball and 3 players win and chat game is over. Just because they dont get credited right away, a nondepositor could still win the chat game ( maybe not get the bb's ), but if cm's dont know they arent a depositor or not, it still is taking away from the depositors. I hope I am explaining it the way I am thinking it lol. Makes more sense in my head haha. Say players 1,2,3 and 4 are playing chat game. players 1 and 2 are non depositors. But still call chat game along with player 3. Chat game is now closed. Well player 4 who is a depositor would still be screwed and no one would really know lol.

    I have a suggestion on how free games would be better...When free games are to be played there is 100-200 people playing because anyone who has ever deposited can play.. Free games are played every week so why not make it that only people who can play is ones who have deposited in past 2 weeks or even the past month..Just a suggestion.mysticpassions

    I guess I am confused about being a "depositing player" which I am, but I thought you couldn't even get in chat unless you deposit. I didn't think a free game was open to non depositers. The other night I was playing and CM asked If I had ever made a deposit, another player told her yes. I thought the room wouldn't open if a deposit had never been made. Any way I love the site and like my "new home"

    Whew...Just got done reading all the comments..lol took me awhile..ok..here goes, I like the new changes vega has been making.. as far as the bb's go..I remember back in the day you had to wait till the cm's shift was over to recieve them..now,.you have to wait a whole day..I can see both sides of this..It may be easier for the cm's to do it this way, giving more time to spend with us, answering questions, or just plain having fun. Then,, I can see the side of the players..trying to keep track of all their bb's earned in a day from the many rooms, and cm's..and then not getting them till the following day. Then if their shorted bb's, that makes it difficult to try and figure out why, where, and how. I'm not sure how you can work on this or if you even want to..but I will think about it and get back to you...lol might take awhile.lol But I love Vega...and I'n not going anywhere soon..lol

    Hi Joel! I came back to look and see if there were any positive comments about the changes of the bbs yet, lol. And it looks like all negative to me for the most part. And it also disrupts chat, with constant questions about when bbs will be awards, what time of day, they were shorted blah blah...I DO agree with rewarding the bbs once a day. Like you said it helps keep track of ones that dont qualify to play...BUT do NOT like the 100 % bonus on bbs. MANY do not benefit from that looks like to me. I feel as if it's an attempt to get us depositing more, more often. And lots on fixed incomes just cant do that....

    anyways, just saying I DO hope Vega is listening and will see that the majority feels that this is NOT a good thing, at least about the bbs.

    I do agree with you, about ALL of the changes, they are MUCH better and exciting! As I have stated over and over though, the one thing that I feel, and LOTS more like me feel, the change of the bonus, the 100% is NOT a good thing. And we are still seeing nondepositers playing chat games, the cm's still have no way of knowing if they are or not. so at that time, it still will take away from depositers, 2 winners per chat game, no matter if they are non depositers or not. I just wish there was a solution to that problem, well, I do know solution, but Vega doesnt want to do that...have a room for depositers ONLY, apparently.

    I will say this again, I LOVE the improvements, there are some, but what would really making Vega a rocking bingo place would be to have a room set up just for depositers...and don't get me wrong, I love new players joining, that's what keeps Vega in business! ahhh well, I've stated all this before, lol.

    Hi Everyone i took a couple of days just thinking about these changes and as an old member of vega its kinda of a step backwards to when we had to wait till end of shift to be credited BBs, then we had a couple of cms that forgot and personally I think you have a couple that will have problems with record keeping because they had problems giving out bbs when we were suppose to get them each game.
    As far as I'm reading you will have players depositing less because theres no incentive to deposit more at a time.
    I also agree with kellyann on the trivia game some of us always have lag,so its highly impossible to be first 1 on answer. I do have cable internet and people are typing wtg long before my game shows a winner.

    I'm really having a problem getting the newsletters I have the addy in my address book and I send an email to Cindy every week out of now 6 weeks she has sent me the newsletter once. This really upsets me because it seems like players I usually never see all get their newsletters. I am starting to take this personally because not only do I send emails to Cindy but I have also sent them to you Joel with no response. Beth got an email too 1 week but thats when she got sick. So I really was upset that out of all the treasure hunts I got to enter only once because I dont get the emails. Especially since my hubby was on temporary lay-off I really wanted the oppurtunity to enter and maybe win just so I could play and visit with my roomies. I needed to get this off my chest because you guys need to know how we feel.

    Last but not least this comment comes from me but I know alot of players think the same and will agree with the fact that your free games that allow everyone that has ever made a deposit and your free for anyone games has brought in some very rude whiney new people and its starting to make me disgusted. I come to BingoVega to relax,chat with friends, playing bingo . Now instead of feeling at home sometimes it feels like a cheap motel where you get to here all the arguments and whining from the rooms next door.

  • Hi screamb thanks for your comment and sorry to hear you're still not getting our emails. I spoke to Cindy and she has replied to your previous email with some valuable tips. Please don't take this personal, we're sending you our emails, the issue is with your email ISP that are blocking our emails. Vega's emails are whitelisted meaning we practice permission email marketing and have high trust with major ISPs like gmail, yahoo and hotmail. Not sure why your ISP is not delivering our emails to you, as a customer of theirs, they're not providing you reliable email services.

    With regards to Trivia. Beth is always open to suggestions and ideas for improving your chat games at Vega. I'm certain if you send your suggestions to her for Trivia, she'll be able to further assist you.

    I'm not sure why there might be complaints in our chat room, if there are a few bad apples, I'm certain our CMs are monitoring and guiding these players on acceptable chat behavior. I agree, Vega's chat rooms are not a place where arguments and negative feedback are welcome as this spoils the experience of other members. I'll speak with our CM team and better understand what these new complaints might be about and deal with them accordingly.

    It's not the CMs fault about these players, and I know scream didnt mean that too. We have ones that play the free games, and will immediately come to chat after winning asking how they can withdrawal, having never deposited, that gets sooo very old. And THAT is through no fault of the CMs and speaking with them won't help that situation.

    i have seen no difference in chat from when they posted after every chat game.. some rooms it seems more of a hassle.. also any way to change up trivia cg... most have lag and before we even see ?? on the screen it is answered 5 times over

    well as far as the bbs i dont think thats a good idea at all i play at alot of sites and it seems like it always gets confusing its hard for u to keep track of every onr winning bbs,but if u think thats a better way then hey try it...but in the mean while alot of ppl depend on there bbs right then and there it keeps them playing alittle more when they cant keep depoisting thats all.....

    Well, here it goes...I am not liking the new bb system. Here is why it does not work for me. I made 2 deposits yesterday and didn't win. I wasn't able to play in the games last night because I wasn't going to deposit again. I did play chat games and have bbs coming to me, but I could have kept playing if they were credited last night. So I can see that I will be unable to play as long as I was before so i am unable to put money back into Vega as much. See how this doesn't work? I'm sure I am not the only one who will be spending much less time here now:(

    i agree, i am widowed and cant afford to make many large deposits. when bb's were credited right away it keep me playing , when i was maxed i would redeposit. i have to wait till next day and since u only pay 2 players each game even when there 60-70 in room it my takes days to use them all. but dont get me wrong i'll still play lol only been here a few weeks but i found a new home love the players and all the chat hosts and of course the free games lol ruby23

    The new improvements don't seem to be for the player benefit, the changes in the way bbs are done has really changed the feel of the site...
    the having to deposit every week, for me, will make it impossible to play here as i usually do. I am on fixed income, cannot afford to deposit every week..and now with the bbs limit of 100% of last deposit...you will be paying less in bbs than anyother site that i know of....all that i know pay atleast 150%.

    So much as i like this site and love everyone here, I will be forced to spend my limited dollars elsewhere.

  • Hi bobcat2, thanks for your comment. First off, I apologize if I haven't clearly communicated the new changes.

    To clarify, before we rolled out the new improvements, the chat bonus was 200% on your last deposit. Now, it's 100% on your total deposits made in last 7 days. This is a HUGE improvement and we're giving away more. As I've said before, many of our players on the old chat bonus crediting we're being penalized and we believe by extending the bonus on TOTAL deposits and NOT on just last deposit, rewards BingoVegans more.

    I'm sure, there will be other online bingo sites that may offer more chat bonuses as there are bigger online bingo communities that may offer even bigger prizes. As we've said before, our goal and promise to you is a total online bingo experience where you can get big bonuses, big prizes and where we have big winners. With Vega's daily 100% to 300% free matching bonus PLUS 100% qualified chat bonuses on your total deposits made in last 7 days, we hope we're doing something right :(

    I'm with others who are unhappy about the cg bb's change. One of the things I liked most about BingoVega was that you got your cg bb's right away instead of having to wait an entire day. Now, you don't know that you got paid for all of them. I'm already questioning whether I was shorted out of bb's I won or if I'm supposed to get them tomorrow since it was after midnight. I kept track of most (if not all) of the cg bb's I was supposed to win yesterday and it should have been $44 but I only got $28. I don't know if the cm's didn't track all of them and I was shorted a lot or if I won't get them until tomorrow. I really don't like this change at all. It's not a change for the better!
  • Hi luvmy5kids, thanks so much for your comment. I totally understand your point of view on the bonuses being credited immediately. This was probably a better value for our members in the short run but this method made it difficult for us to manage the BBs being awarded on two levels.

    This is also a response to everyone else that has commented on the crediting change. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We really appreciate it!

    1) our CMs time was taken away from attending to you and other BingoVegan roomies
    2) it was very time consuming for our CMs to verify between qualified and non qualified members. As a result, a ton of your qualified BBs were being awarded to non qualified members. With this improvement, we can now better track the BBs being awarded and re-award those BBs back to qualified members in the form of double BB days, even surprise Triple BB days and other surprises that we have lined up for you.

    Overall, with your feedback and suggestions, we can monitor this new change, make tweaks and adjustments to make it even more rewarding for valued members such as yourself.

    Plus, this improvement, will enable us to do more for the community in the forms of more complimentary games like the $100 games we're currently hosting, bigger guaranteed prizes, makes it more achievable for us to launch new rooms like the upcoming 2nd chance room and pack and quick lines room.

    At BingoVega our promise to our players isn't just big bonuses, in fact it's big bonuses, big prizes and big winners. If we continue to be a community known for just BBs, we'll loose out on the opportunity to reward you with other perks that we feel make Bingo Vega an overall better community to be a part of.

    I like the improvements you have made to bingo vega...I like the new games. I have a lot of fun here. I am one of those people who can only deposit small amounts of money at a time. That is probably why I have never maxed on bbs. I hope your new system works, because I deposited my whole monthly allowance here on Easter Weekend.. I wanted to let you know that last nite on the free 100 games in big dipper, I player a couple of games but then got booted. When I tried to access the site, I could'nt. I recieved an error message that site site was unavailable due to capacity problems..lol . No big surprise with 100 free games..lol. Jonboy thought I should let you know though....Thanks for everything. You guys are great!!

    well, while i enjoy alot of the benefits you all are coming up with.. and i know how hard you guys work.. and i truly enjoy jonboy and bridget and angel and ladonna.. there is only one new thing that im not very fond of.. it's that the cm's dont credit the bb's anymore :(.
    i know i know.. it's easier and gives us more time without favor'd cms and i totally understand that.. but also getting the bb's right away without the fusterations of the wait and wondering .. or the delay in being able to play more games.. was a huge benefit i think to the site and hte players.
    but.. that's just my opinion.. lots of hugs.. and thanks for doing a wonderful job.

    I am fairly new to online bingo so I only know this site from the first of 2009. It has change alot since I have been here....ALL of it good! We need to go to WHICHBINGO.com and choose our favorite CM. It looks like Beth was the last one choosen in 2006....Let's let the world know BINGOVEGA rocks!!!!

    Have to say you guys just amaze me at all the great changes you are always making. I brag to everyone how great this site is, but now i think one of the changes is nothing to brag about, so to speak. Its the one where they turn in your cg wins and u are pd once a day. People like me who get real low on funds rely on cg wins to continue to play till i can deposit again. But this way, i gotta wait. Today had just a little over a dollar, played a couple in milky way, then knew i better use the rest buying 1 card at a time in little dipper. Finally got a cg win, but down to my last nickle and couldnt play no more due to not getting my bb's right away. This is the only change i have to say that isnt a good one to some of us. Have played other sites that did this, needless to say, never went back after seeing thats the way they did it on cg wins. But, every other change here has been only positive ones.

    I have been very happy since I started playing at this website and one of the PLUS things I really liked was that your chat host gave bonus bucks right away! Then there was no confusion as to not getting them.That has now changed and I dont think of it as a positive thing

    not real pleased with the changes, so will have to see how it goes. It seems with the tough economy everyone is tightening their belts...so ...its understandable that you have to also...just makes it hard for those of us on fixed incomes who play here to be able to continue doing so.

    But do you see what I mean? going with your example....If i deposit 50.00 today, then turn around and do another 25.00 tomorrow, and that is all I did in a week, I will only earn a total of 75.00 in bbs, but the old way you could earn 150.00. That is like cutting it in half.
  • I'll try to explain better. You would only receive 200% on your last deposit not your last 7 deposits with our old rule. That's why we're changing the bonus from your last deposit to your total deposits in last 7 days. With the old rule, you would only receive 200% bonus on your last deposit only, so it would $50 in qualified BBs (200% on $25). With the new rule, you would qualify for $75 because it will now include on your total deposits made in last 7 days.

    Actually, it's funny, as more businesses are cutting back during the economic downturn, we've done the opposite since January. We've increased our chat host schedule giving your more excitement throughout the day, we've also extended our customer care team hours to better serve you.

    In addition, earlier this month we injected more cash into your PJP games across all 3 main rooms and have so far we've awarded more PJP winners this month than any previous.

    I only highlight the above to clearly communicate our commitment in further improving the bingo vega community for our valued members such as yourself.

    We're surely sensitive to the economy and feel just in the past few months we've done some interesting specials to give more to our members from free bingo games to bigger depositing bonuses and we're not planning to stop :)

    Ok, love all the improvements except for #1....could you please explain that to me, cause it looks like more of loosing out on bbs to me, than for the better? or am I just not seeing what you are saying? If you deposit 100.00 in a week, you only earn 100.00 in bbs. but the old way, you could earn 200.00 in bbs......
  • thanks for the feedback and question. The current 200% bonus only applies on your last deposit. So if you deposit $50 today, you do qualify for $100 in chat bonuses but if you deposit $25 again tomorrow, you only get $50, bc the old bonus applies only to your last and most recent deposit. We believe, the new bonus of 100% of your total deposits made in the past 7 days, will reward more of our members. So you'll continue to qualify for more Chat BBs. Hope this clarifies.

    i agree will joel, the players make out by having a 7 day rule, but bingovega does not, since we are waiting 24 hrs for bb's and with only 2 players a game winnign bb's, were not max ing outour bb's as fast, so most players, like me who cant depsoit everyday are waiting till next day for bb's and not making as many deposits, my opinion is pay more players each game, throw the bb's at them so they max and have to redeposit to play. remeber how many players u had during stopball when u paid all apose to now only paying 3 a game.

    These imporvements are soooo great!! Once again you are making sure Vega is the best site ever!!! We are confused on the Improvement #1..could you explain that better please? I usually depo 100 at time..so it seems I will be losing out on bbs? I dont think I understand it..lol..no big surprise there. Keep up the great work and thank you for all the great rewards to us players!
  • Hi mckeemom, you're right, the old bonus structure would have been better for players that only made a single one-time deposit of $100, but at the same time penalized players that deposited small amounts, then a bigger deposit or vice versa. But overall, the new extended bonus across 7 days, rewards more players. Of course our goal is to ensure every improvement we make, benefits all of our players, if not the majority. So we'll continue to review and monitor the new changes. If we think, there's room for improvement, you can bet, we'll be on top of it :)
