Yikes, seems I’m very late on this blog post, but fear not – Bingo Vega’s Member of the Month returns for another draw. This time we will be celebrating our Member of the Month for the month of October. In case you have been living under a rock for the past few months, or are simply just new to Vega (in which case I wholeheartedly apologize to any “under-rock-livers”) our Member of the Month drawing is a chance to celebrate a member of the Vega community that has shown excellence in the following criteria

• Number of games played

• Time spent at Bingo Vega

• Friends Referred to Bingo Vega

• Active on the Vega Vine community Blog

• Actve in chat

Sounds good, but what are the prizes?

Here’s the quick scoop. We will be drawing six random names from our list of elligible players. Of theses names, only one will be crowned our Member of the Month. This player that receives this honor, will be given a $250 gift certificate at Amazon.com. The remaining 5 runner ups will receive $50 gift certificates to Amazon, respectively. Pefect timing for doing a bit of holiday shopping!

I’m in, when is the draw?

As many of our loyal Vegans know, there have been a few format changes with our Member of the Month live drawing. Keeping the process the same one last time, Beth will make an announcement in chat this Sunday, November 22nd at 8:00pm est with the results. However, I’m excited for the changes that will happen in the future in terms of our drawing. Please stay tuned to the usual channels for more information on this.

Here we go again

October is here, and with the cooler temperatures also comes that time of the month where we name one of our lucky members the Bingo Vega Member of the Month.

We’ve taken 200 players that fit our Member of the Month criteria and have listed them below.  Of these 200 players, we will be selecting five runner ups and one grand prize winner.

What are the prizes?

Five runner ups will receive a shiny $50 gift certificate and  the grand prize winner will receive a whopping $250 gift certificate at Amazon.com.  Just think of the possibilities…you could buy scarves, Halloween decorations, candy apples; the options are endless!

Sounds great, when and where is the draw?

The draw will be held at 9pm eastern standard time on Sunday, October 11th.  Since we know how much everyone loves bingo, we will simply make the announcement live in chat during that time.  Beth will randomly select the winners and broadcast to all rooms the results of the draw.

July has come and gone, which means two things:

1. There’s only a month left until I get to ship these kids back to school
2. We will be celebrating another Bingo Vega Member of the Month – July Edition!

With such positive feedback from our last Member of the Month drawing, we will continue with the same fantastic prizes that we offered in June. I, along with the Vega girls, will be drawing the names of six lucky Vegans who will be deemed July’s Member of the Month and runner ups! Just to remind you of our prizes – we’re offering our runners up a $50 Amazon gift certificate each and the grand prize of a $250 Amazon gift certificate will go to our lucky Vegan that will earn the prestigious award of Member of the Month.

Our big draw will be held on Sunday, August 9th August 16th at 8:00 EST. As always, you can join us by heading over to our Ustream channel and tuning into our live broadcast. Another Bingo Vegan has been inducted into the ranks of Member of the Month. A huge congratulations goes out to “runt36″, who along with receiving a $250 gift certificate to Amazon.com,  will wear the Vega crown and forever be known as June’s Member of the Month.

Things were a little different this time around, with improved chances for our members to win. Another congratulations goes out to all of our runner ups who each received prizes of $50 Amazon gift certificates.  Here are the runners up, in no particular order:

As always, the event was broadcasted on our Ustream channel, and the community was there to watch the live event.  I have to admit, it didn’t feel the same without the two Vega girls with me to draw the names and provide some comedic relief; but everything went off without a hitch and our new Member of the Month was dubbed.

Summer is really starting to heat up here at Bingo Vega!

Wow, has it been a month already? It’s that time again, Vegans, where we celebrate a lucky winner and name them Member of the Month – June.

As you are all probably getting the grills ready to celebrate July 4th, here at Bingo Vega we’re getting ready to have a celebration of our own. It’s that time again, the time where we express our appreciation to our community and host our June Member of the Month draw!

Gimme the details!

We’re going to shake things up a little bit this time around. We’ve been listening to some suggestions over the past couple of months and we’ve decided that as a test, we’re going to change how we conduct our draw.
So on Sunday, July 12th at 8:00 pm EST we will be giving away SIX prizes for SIX lucky Bingo Vega members. Simply log in to our Ustream channel and join me as I draw five of our candidates who will receive a $50 Amazon gift certificate each, and one lucky winner will receive our top prize of a $250 Amazon gift certificate and be dubbed June’s Member of the Month!

Not only will our Member of the Month take away a cool gift, but they will be prominently displayed on our Member of the Month page back at the Vega site…bragging rights ensue!
