Addressing BingoVegans’ Feedback from Facebook

Thank you to our loyal members for caring enough to share their feedback on our Facebook fan page through out the past few days.

Over the past few weeks, we have rolled out a series of improvements to our game rooms. We are very excited about the new games, lineups and variety of ways you can play bingo across all the Bingo Vega rooms.

Some of you have voiced that you’re not happy with pot sizes in Little Dipper and we have addressed that by adding a starting seed to every game that plays and have introduced a $1,500 min. $15 coverall and most importantly we have made the PJP more favourable to win now.

As a result, after several months, the Little Dipper PJP was hit at $3,000 this past Friday – congrats AlexaMarie!!!!

You will continue to see the PJP in little dipper be hit more frequently now as a result of these changes.

Now what happened to the penny $50 guaranteed games, $100 guaranteed nickel games and the non stop $20 guaranteed games?

In simple terms – we were not covering our basic costs by running these games. Yes, that’s right, like any other successful bingo site, we first need to make sure our games are not putting the site in a negative. In Vega’s case, not only were these games not profitable, they had dug us into the blistering red :(

Here’s how: for every $1 wagered in little dipper, we were giving away $2.00 in prize. That’s a negative of -50%. Surely we’re not in the business of running a short term business – in fact, we’re planning to be around for a very long time and to ensure we can keep our doors open, we have made a series of improvements that we believe position bingovega.com to offer exciting games, more ways to win and allow us to grow our community so we can offer more super exciting special pots.

We’re pleased to hear many of our members are enjoying the new games and sessions and equally so we are listening to the few members who are not happy with what was quoted “measly pots”.

Anytime we make an improvement to the community, we risk the chance of upsetting some of our loyal members – and for us this is a very difficult decision. But at times, as a business we’re forced to make difficult decisions to ensure the success of our community for the long run and these recent improvements as we believe are “improvements” are just that.

We are optimistic about these improvements as we believe they will help us achieve our goals of offering you not only the best bonuses, most winners but also the best prizes. In addition, these new improvements will position us to roll out a series of new improvements that we feel will certainly excite all of our members.

So stay tuned, keep sending us your feedback and together we will keep improving vega to become the #1 online bingo site.

Thank you.

Hi, well I must say that in my opinion, as a long time bingo-vegan, that this site is the absolute best at doing all they can to make and keep their members happy and interested. Although, I am unable to participate in all the fun, and in what I am sure are very generous chat games, nor am I familiar with the chat host in the game rooms, this site continually listens, makes changes, and improves year after year. It is also my opinion that, not only do they take VERY good care of their members in general but, they go further than any other site that I've played at (there has been many) to address concerns, answer questions, and give outstanding customer service to everyone, every time. So, thank you bingovega, I think you should be hearing that more often (yes from myself included), just because, and because you are in my opinion THE BEST THERE IS!!!! I look forward to many more years as a bingo-vegan. Oh, and THANK YOU!!!!

went over to the activity report and its funny you can get a total on the amount spent on slots...but still can't on bingo....why? I just don't understand why that is not an option to have the total. It sure would make life easier....seeing as we can get the total on slots...i think that problem would not have happened...if that had been possible.

But you are not listening to us wanting the fair and square room back to the way it was and you seem to have gotten rid of all the big guaranteed jackpots. I used to want to play on here all the time, but now I'm bored with it, as the guaranteed pots are not worth trying for on a limited income. Oh well, seems you don't listen well to the complaints on facebook, as I've seen alot, not a few! I'm sure this won't be printed, as I also notice you have to approve any before they go to print. A very very disappointed and past player!!
  • Hi pittzia,

Thanks for your comment and sorry to hear you're not happy with the recent improvements.

First I'd like to make something clear so there's no misunderstanding - at Vega we publish all comments (positive that praise us, and the reality comments that show our players disappointments). We don't sugarcoat and cherry pick comments - we publish all as long as they're not offensive and are not promoting other bingo sites.

Good or bad, we publish all comments. We manual approve all comments to ensure there are no spam complaints made by robots and competitors.

Now to address your feedback with fair n square - prior to the latest changes, fair n square played once per week and the lineup is much the same as it is now with the difference being the $250 and $500 guaranteed games.

As previously posted, given all of our promos and specials are carefully monitored and the success of each special is solely based on the number of members it attracts – if a particular special attracts a lot of members, it’s a clear sign that you love playing them and therefore we continue offering them to you.

But as soon as the excitement around an event or promo dies out, we carefully investigate the promo internally and work to improve it by offering you more prizes, different style games or toss it out and bring in a new concept.

Thus is what has happened with the Fair n square lineup. We weren't getting the ovolume of players for the $250 and $500 games to justify the loss we had on these games. So we where faced with a tough challenge, how to we revive the fair n square without killing the room?

The solution: remove the $250 and $500 games since we get less players playing these games and offer more of the games players are enjoying which where the $100 games and $50 pots.

So that's what we did and to ensure we where actually giving you more in the long run, we are now offering fair n square twice per week instead of once.
And we will most likely run it 3 x per week soon with new pots and ways to win big prizes.

Hope this response helps you better to understand who bingovega is and how we operate.

We love and appreciate the business all of our members give us - we know you have tons of choice in choosing a bingo site to play and we do our best to ensure we are exceeding the expectation of all of our members - but at times, this turns out to be a difficult objective,

I was also a loyal player here, but since vega got rid of all the big pots, I've moved on. I used to deposit on a regular basis, but not worth it anymore and I cannot believe you can say you didn't have enough players to make ends meet. Your rooms were full on nights when you had the $1000 guaranteed games going on, along with the people who prebought. You've probably lost alot of players and I see all of us who voted on facebook to get the $1000 game back apparently did not succeed. Vega was good to me while I was here, but can't get any winnings on low pots and some of us like to withdraw money every now and then. Sorry, some of us don't count as well as others and sorry to leave, but have to go where a person can make a profit. So you can understand some of us players reasons, I hope, same as you're saying we have to go where the money's at and do what's best for us. Shop around and ye shall find!!

    Hi all
Just wanted to let everyone know I am back from my vacation in Hong Kong. I had a great time with my family. My mother is doing great as she is gone into her second remission. I pray that her cancer will never come back.

Anyway, on a lighter note, hopefully I will be able to get my pictures posted onto Facebook.
  • welcome back mermaidcutie and looking forward to hearing more about your exciting trip. Ooooh, photos will be great!
